high performances for d3o-d3o的高性能

d3o material: limb and head protectors

d3o is a dilatant material commonly used for impact protection. It was developed by the British chemical engineering company d3o Lab. d3o Lab was founded by Richard Palmer and specialises in creating unique polymers for impact protection. This lightweight material is very flexible and malleable, until subjected to abrupt force, making it useful in protective clothing in situations where the wearer may be exposed to blunt trauma. The material has been used in the production of protective garments used by US and Canadian skiers during the 2006 Winter Olympic Games.

Properties:
    - Density: 0.5 - 0.65 g/cm3
    - Shear Hardness: 65 - 81 - "00"
    - Melting Point: d3o is a thermosetting plastic
    - Operating temperature range: -55°C to 120°C
    - Shelf life: Over 4 years
    - Non-toxic
    - Repeat washing: 40 washes at 40°C
   - Tensile strength: 1Mpa according to the standard BS EN ISO 1798:2000
